Odoo MCP

Terms of service

These terms apply to the hosted odoomcp.com service and to the free MCP Connector module for Odoo (lr_mcp_connector).

Updated:

Provider: UAB "VM Robotika" (LONGRUN, "we"), Vilnius, Lithuania, EU. Contact: info@longrun.lt.

1. The service

odoomcp.com is a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets AI assistants you choose read data from your own Odoo database. The service is read-only: it does not create, change or delete records in your Odoo. The MCP Connector module for Odoo is free software licensed under GNU LGPL-3.0; these terms govern the hosted service it connects to.

2. Your account and your Odoo

You must be at least 18 and authorised to connect the Odoo database you register. You choose the Odoo user whose API key the service uses, and that user's access rights decide what can be read. You are responsible for your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Free use, limits and changes

The service includes a free monthly request allowance. We may apply fair-use limits, introduce paid plans with prior notice by email, or change features. Paid plans, if you choose one, are billed in advance and renew until cancelled.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, to access Odoo data you are not authorised to access, to circumvent limits, or to attempt to breach security or tenant isolation. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. Data and AI providers

When you ask a question, the service reads the requested records from your Odoo and returns them to the AI assistant you connected. That assistant's provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) processes the data under your agreement with them. Our processing of your Odoo data is described in the data processing agreement and the privacy policy.

6. Risks of AI assistants and MCP

By using the service and the module you understand and accept, at your own risk, that:

  • AI answers, summaries, figures and conclusions can be wrong, incomplete or outdated, even when the underlying Odoo data is correct;
  • text stored in Odoo (emails, descriptions, comments, documents) can contain instructions aimed at the AI model (prompt injection) that make the assistant behave unexpectedly or disclose data;
  • data the assistant receives is transferred to and processed by the AI provider you chose (for example Anthropic or OpenAI), possibly outside the EU, under that provider's terms;
  • API keys, accounts, devices and AI clients can be stolen, compromised or misused;
  • the Model Context Protocol, AI services and MCP clients are developing quickly and can change, break or stop working.

You decide which Odoo user and rights to grant, which data to expose and how to act on AI output. Review AI output before acting on it, in particular for financial, tax, accounting, legal or personnel decisions.

7. No warranty

The service and the module are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation. We aim for high availability; uninterrupted service is not promised.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: decisions or actions taken on the basis of AI answers; any direct or indirect loss, including financial loss, lost profit or revenue, business interruption, reputational harm, fines and penalties; data loss, corruption, disclosure or unauthorized access, including through prompt injection, overly broad Odoo user rights, stolen keys, third-party AI services or your own infrastructure; unavailability or changes of the service or third-party services; and your compliance with the GDPR, the EU AI Act or other law. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim, or EUR 100 if you used the service free of charge. These limitations apply except where mandatory law does not allow liability to be limited or excluded.

9. Indemnity

You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the service, the data you connect or the instructions you give to AI assistants.

10. Ending the service

You can disconnect at any time in the Odoo module, which deletes the API key in your Odoo. On disconnection or account closure we delete the stored Odoo credentials and revoke access tokens. We may end the service for breach of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes go to the courts of Vilnius unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will notify material changes by email.
